2. What do you do?
I DJ and produce electronic music & work in event production at the plaza hotel.
3. Where do you often create/produce?
In my studio at home.
Usually in very concentrated bursts when work is slower or if I have a gig coming up.
5. Why do you play music?
I don’t know really, I’ve always been doing it since I can remember, and it feels good so I just never stopped.
6. When did you start making music?
I started playing saxophone when I was 8 but I hated it, started drumming and trying to play guitar when I was 13-14, got reason on my computer when I was 16 and an sp404 when I was 17 and it was all over for me.
7. Which track defines you the most?
I’m not sure if there is one, if there was I guess I’d say The Living Flesh just because it’s the most well known, nice to have that pressed on the New York Trax release.
8. How would you describe your own music?
Chaotic, frustrating. I’ve been upping the tempo recently and only really playing in the 170-175 range, live and DJ.

10. What influences your work?
Capitalism, our dying planet, the future imagined in early science fiction which we are living today without all the bells and whistles.
11. What’s your academic background?
I have a regents high school diploma from New York State though I been thinking about going back to school to be an astronaut.

Just Read Red Mars (first of a trilogy) and I think it’s that.

Eek prob Chris Jarman (Raiden / Kamikaze Space Programme).
17. Are you analog or digital?
I have a little of both in my setup, right now is octatrack, virus TI, analog heat, sherman filterbank, MFB tanzbar and allen & heath mixwizard.. I prefer to DJ vinyl..
18. Which soft wares/tools/ instruments do you use/play?
Rats I already gave it away…
19. Describe your creative process?
Sometimes I feel like turning the stuff on and I just go until something sounds alright, and leave a little of it blank. Then, I press record and try to record something coherent. If I mess around on stuff too long sometimes I’ll cut some parts out and stitch it together but that doesn’t always work out.
20. When are you the most prolific (creatively)?
Usually leo season and pisces season.

I still have hope.
23. Do you have a healthy lifestyle?
I work crazy hours and party a lot but I rarely drink alcohol (and regret almost every time I do) and I eat pretty good, green smoothie every morning s/o nutribullet.
24. How do you manage your time effectively? (Job/hobby)
I don’t think that I do.
25. Any secret skills?
I’m great at catching flies.
26. Any future plans?
2020 I’m starting a new future drum n bass label called “planet sickness”. The first release will be a split 12” w bug spray. Maybe hopefully doing that astronaut thing also..
