I create repetitive, minimalistic electronics.

I need to. It is an excrement of digested impressions.

Monocorpse started in 2013.

The tracks I create with Monocorpse are not autobiographical but based on the

mes. In my opinion, the best descriptions of its theme are “2nd Offer” and O

n the Other Side of the Mirror”.

8. How would you describe your own music?

A perpetual ritual.

Survive by Combat Force – Four mouth breathers producing violence that is ma

10.What influences your work?

All my music is an interpretation of some form of ritual sacrifice.

11.What’s your academic background? Are you an autodidact?

I studied metallurgy. Yes.

Pentti Saparneva.

The Comfort of Strangers by Ian McEwan.

14.Favorite classic movie?

It’s a tie between:

The Tenant by Roman Polanski and

The Wicker Man by Robin Hardy

Enfant Terrible/Gooiland Elektro; an honest label with genuine DIY ethics and

I am honoured to be on their roster. The releases are very divers but always

challenging and I have quite a few of them in my record collection.

Most non-ET releases that I have purchased recently came from:

Youth Attack, L.A. Club Resource, Tour de Garde and Bunker/Panzerkreuz.

Monocorpse is and will always be a solitary journey.

18.Which soft wares/tools/ instruments do you use/play?

I like to keep it minimal and only use a D16 – Drumazon and a Korg Legacy – M

S20 plug-in.

19.Describe your creative process?

I get obsessed by a certain topic for a few months; I read and watch

everything I can find on it. During that period I intuitively create music that is an interpretation of the topic.

Afterwards, I apply structure and strip it to its bare essence.

Plexus in Delft and Distortion in Amsterdam.

22.What’s your life philosophy? (Optimistic/pessimistic)

I am a pessimist.

It depends on the season.

I don’t. The job wins. If I really need to create music, I sacrifice sleep.

A new EP entitled The Comfort of Strangers” will be released by
