2. What do you do?
I make music, ranging from experimental to dance-able.
Ambient, emo, dark, techno, noise, light, elektro, ballads
, kaleidoscopic, synth-wave.
3. Where do you often create/produce?
At my home studio.
3-4 days a week.
5. Why do you play music?
I’m in love with the sounds a synthesizer can produce. And that you can record your imagination and emotions.
6. When did you start making music?
Around 2006, my 1st album came out on Bunker records in 2009.
7. Which track defines you the most?
Maybe “Mood” from my 1st album on Bunker Records 2009,
or the Track “Mirage” from my Pinkman / Lux Rec spilt EP 2016.
8. How would you describe your own music?
It is dark kaleidoscopic melancholy and playful light noise. Arrangements and drones.
9. Any track of the moment?
Recently bought the re-issue of Beta Evers – Eruption.
10.What influences your work?
My imagination and a synthesizer.
11.What’s your academic background? Are you an autodidact?
I’ve studied visual art in Utrecht, The Netherlands. No musical academic background.
I see design as a necessity of everyday living, not to be admired, form follows function.
Paranoia by W.F. Hermans, short stories.

ranging from experimental to synth-pop, very coherent in diversity.

Nobody in mind, we’ll see what life brings.
17. Are you analog or digital?
Both, it’s all about the creativity of the artist in question, not the equipment.
18.Which softwares/tools/ instruments do you use/play?
Cubase. Yamaha DX7, Korg M1, Waldorf Microwave 1, Ensoniq SQ80, Elka EK22.
All 80ies synths, digital, hybrid and analog. a broad palette of possibilities.
19.Describe your creative process?
It’s a spontaneous process, programming a synthesizer, sometimes playing around with keys or a sequencer.
20.When are you the most prolific (creatively)?
During the day. I need to be clear to hear details in tonality.

I shop around.

Could be better, could be worse.

I work for a boss 3 days a week, the rest is free.

Yes, there will be a vinyl release very soon on Ordo Viatorum,
the Label from Jeroen Holthuis (DJ Down The Rabbit Hole).
It’s a dark, kaleidoscopic, ritualistic album. Me and Jeroen are Celephaïs.
I’m working on 4 other records but these are far from seeing the light of day.
