At home or with friends.

5. Why do you play music?
Music, being a completely abstracted form of communication, allows me to communicate complex ideas, simply, without the need to simplify the idea or image itself. Unlike film or words or visual language, ideas can be coded into the raw material of sound, without the need for supplemental interpretive devices.
6. When did you start making music?
I probably first made things that resemble music when I was 8 or 9. I used cassette recorders to bounce sounds back and forth on tapes until something like music was built up as a final thing. Since then, I have participated in creating music-like sounds in various configurations on different platforms.
7. Which track defines you the most?
I still fight an ancient battle against definition.
8. How would you describe your own music?
I Hate the Capitalist System.

Hormones, spells, surrealism and situationism, Viki, Prince, Michigan, Mike Kelley, Hanson promo vids, Linder Sterling, Drexciya, British comedy, Ersatz Audio, Cambodian surf rock, Neue Deutsche Welle.
11.What’s your academic background? Are you an autodidact?
I have committed a great deal of my past time and all of my future earnings to academic credentials, but I still make it all up as I go.

17. Are you analog or digital?
I use both analog and digital instruments to generate sound, but I am unavoidably analog.
18.Which soft wares/tools/ instruments do you use/play?
Primarily old beat boxes and synths by Roland, Sequential, Yamaha, Casio, et al and voice.
19.Describe your creative process?
I attempt to fully inhabit my technical limitations. The approach is always changing and slightly out of reach.
20.When are you the most prolific (creatively)?
Unfortunately, when things are dire.

I have a lifestyle in flux.
24.How do you manage your time effectively?
I let it get away from me and then frantically reach to get some of it back.
25. Any secret skills?
My ego would never allow something like a “skill” to remain secret, but a lot of people probably don’t know that I’m a pretty fierce arm-wrestling competitor.
26. Any future plans?
Spend time with friends, make music and hopefully produce more documents that that activity occurred.
27.What’s your life motto?
I tend to think that other people have better access to the patterns we display than we do ourselves, so I reached out to a friend for and answer and she say’s its “GET IT”.
