2. What do you do?

I make electronic music under the moniker KP Transmission. And also I play the bass guitar in the post-punk noise-rock band Fanny Kaplan.

3. Where do you often create/produce?

At home mostly but sometimes I make it on trains or in public places when I just waiting for something or somebody.

4. When?

It doesn’t depend on the time of day. I can make it any time when I’m home. I can wake up and finish a track when I’m still in the bed.

5. Why do you play music?

I do it because I’m really passionate about it.

6. When did you start making music? 

My first music attempts took place in 2007.

Mood, weather, movies, books etc

11.What’s your academic background? Are you an autodidact? 

I took piano lessons in my early teenage, I learned bass and everything else by myself.

17. Are you analog or digital?

I use analog along with digital.

18.Which soft wares/tools/ instruments do you use/play? 

When I play I use various vst plugins, Ableton and some hardware as well, bass guitar for example.

19.Describe your creative process?

I play, listen, delete, play again and so on.

20.When are you the most prolific (creatively)?

It doesn’t depend on conditions.

I don’t have any. I order stuff from Internet and I do it from a wide variety of sources.

22.What’s your life philosophy? (Optimistic/pessimistic)

Life’s ugly, but beautiful.

23.Do you have a healthy lifestyle?

I tend to reach some sort of balance between health and self-destruction.

24.How do you manage your time effectively? (Job/hobby)

Get to bed early, get up early. But sometimes it’s hard.

25. Any secret skills?

I’m very good at long jumping and opening beer with a lighter.

26. Any future plans?

Releasing my new solo stuff, releasing a soundtrack for “Teletourgia” movie.
