1. Who are you?
2. What do you do?
For the most part – I work for money, make odd music, and try to see people when I can.
3. Where do you often create/produce?
For the past few years I’ve been producing music in personal spaces between Albuquerque, Los Angeles and Brooklyn.
4. When?
Any time I can find between Noon and 4am.
5. Why do you play music?
On a very broad level, it satisfies some deep psychological needs of mine. It’s therapeutic in that sense. On a more specific level – the stuff I produce, while perhaps not apparent at first, always ends up standing in relation to my roots in New Mexico. There’s a mood to everything I make, one that if you have the chance to drive around Albuquerque for a while, it’ll start to make more sense. I guess it’s an attempt to relate the paranoias and conflicts of life out there.
6. Which track defines you the most?
“Touched by the Wrong Hand” off of the Unknown Precept record.
Simple, Uncomfortable, Precarious.
7. How would you describe your own music?
It’s my take on Punk, EBM and wave-leaning music. Equal parts songwriting and machine expression. Rhythmic music with a complicated relationship to the context it’s usually presented in.
8. Any track of the moment?
9.Favorite book?
Double or Nothing by Raymond Federman.
10.Favorite music label?
Right now, June Records.
11.Your dream collaboration?
 Darlene Victor.
12. Are you analog or digital?
Both, I just look for the sounds I want. I don’t care where they come from.
13.Which soft wares/tools/ instruments do you use/play?
Sometimes I make tracks on the computer, and sometimes I make tracks using a couple synthesizers and a sampler/sequencer.
14.Describe your creative process?
I usually start with some sort of percussion, then look for motifs or gestures to build off of.
15.What’s your life philosophy? (Optimistic/pessimistic)
16.How do you manage your time effectively? (Job/hobby)
I can’t manage much effectively for the most part. I play that whole game of work, but I don’t enjoy any part of it.
17. Any future plans?
Releasing more music, playing live and working on some other projects – stay tuned to Private Selection and BFE records for news on that.
