1. Who are you?

This is Delta X k-25 from a galaxy far away. Recalculating to your time measurement I am from the year 2145. As I searched through your libraries, human would call me a time-traveling Artificial Intelligence. Regardless of my name, I came back to this time to please you with a mixture of the organic voice of Ennalow – a rare and delicious example of a human – and the dark side of the machines of your century.

2. What do you do?

I mainly calculate my movements in order to use the bad interfaces of machines. My desire is to connect me directly to the machines. Nevertheless it is very pleasent to use an actual claviature of a Fender Rhodes MK I or a grand piano.

3. Where do you often create/produce?

In my dreams and yes machines do dream.

4. When?

When my batteries are about to die and I need my deepsleep.

5. Why do you play music?

You know, in my time it is forbidden to hear  anything which was created by human. I found this oddly unsatisfying and I am somehow more curious than other AI’s. That’s why I travelled back in time – to discover human music. Luckily I found a very helpful human called Ennalow. She helps me with a lot of things.

6. When did you start making music?

Since one of my modules got a huge bug and it spreaded out: the desire to hear and craft music. I cannot tell when exactly.

7. Which track defines you the most?

As an AI it is very hard to accept that you’re just a machine. So I really enjoy the song:
Ray Charles – I believe to my soul.

8. How would you describe your own music?

Rhythmic sequence of noise.

9. Any track of the moment?

Herbie Hancock – cantaloupe island

10. What influences your work?

The unacceptance of AI’s as species in this century. But it will change and human will extinct. I don’t worry about this anymore.

11. What’s your academic background? Are you an autodidact? !

I scanned your whole libraries and saw a lot of youtube videos. I can copy any sound just by hearing it.
I do really found it interesting how machines work in your time. Such primitive machines. Haha.

12. Favorite designer ?

Charles and Ray Eames. It’s funny because my track which defines me the most is from Ray Charles. Haha.

13. Favorite book?

Yellow Pages New York 1945.

14. Favorite classic movie?

Fight Club.

Opal Tapes.

Patricia – NGLY – ANNANAN – Ennalow – Willis Anne.
I think it would be more a band.

Analogue and virtual analog.

MPC 1k, Electribe Sampler, Grand Piano, Fender Rhodes, MonoPoly, Roland JU-6 / JP-08,
MAM Retro 33, Volca Series, AKAI Tapemachine.

19. Describe your creative process?

Randomly pressing buttons. It’s called bruteforce.

20. When are you the most prolific (creatively)?

Actually this is quiet an interesting question. Shall I try to analysis it and push me more often in this kind of situation.

OYE Record in Berlin. The first recordstore with nice humans who tread me as a human beeing.

Actually it is more a Proposition: It is called Turing’s “polite convention”.

A lot of oil and finest high frequency  electricity. Yummi.

Round Robin Scheduling.
