I think I was like 12 and loved Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure so much that I bought a guitar.

I write a lot of new stuff in August for some reason.  I just can sit down and knock out a lot of new ideas, then I usually spend several months tweaking these around.  The stuff I’m finishing now was all initially from last year but it’s been a long process of recutting and manipulating stuff as it goes.

20. When are you the most prolific (creatively)?

Heaven Street Records in Bushwick is a cool spot with a bunch of weirdo electroclash stuff and deep gems that I think gets overlooked a lot.  I’ve found some very bizarre/bazaar cuts there.
